Must Have Office Stationary

We all love office stationary, it reminds us of the good old school days. However as we grow older we start to realize the importance of having good stationary. Office stationery’s are tools, take a builder for example he/she would have his tool box and a full set of screwdrivers. and take a office manager they would have a good set of pens and board markers. It’s the same principle. I’m going to go through a list of must have office stationery’s that every office should have. Even if you don’t need it you should have it!

Post It Notes

The famous yellow post it notes, so handy and efficient. Never ever buy the pink coloured ones as I think they are totally irrelevant. You wouldn’t buy pink shoes, so don’t buy pink sticky notes. Post it notes are cheap, so make sure you stock up on them!

Highlighters

Highlighters are brilliant, they are very useful to . . . err . . . highlight stuff. That’s right it does exactly what it says on the tin! Oh, pink highlighters are ok if you’re an accountant. However I prefer the yellow Stabilo Boss highlighters, original and high quality.

Pentel Ultra Fine Pens

These are not just ordinary pens, these are for those who like neat, sharp, precise writing. They look all the same with the old school orange design and they come in different colours. You don’t need all the colours, all you need is black and red, simple!

Pencils

I’m not fussy about what make pencils you should have, but you should have plenty of them. You can give out paper and pencils to everyone during meetings to take notes. NOTE: in offices pencils are never used for drawing. It’s vital to know the basics. also save yourself some time and money and buy pencils which have rubbers at the top! Keep it simple.

Staplers and Hole Punchers

Staplers are probably one of the best tools in a office. A staple is so small yet so powerful! Same goes with hole punchers, very efficient. These tools are used when you need to organize papers and frankly speaking there are no other alternatives. Well you have butterfly clips and string folders, but they don’t quite cut it you see.

PenPots

To hold all your pens and pencils you will obvoiusly need a penpot. Try and get one that matches the colour of your desk, it helps if you don’t like them.
