Office Space in London Underground Zones
The London Underground has 6 zones, 1 being the most inner London and 6 being the most outer London. As you can imagine, you’d expect that the further you go out from London the cheaper the office space. Estate agents don’t really pay attention to what zone a property is in, they focus more on what’s nearby and the location. You could take this for your advantage and find office space in a zone which is beneficial for you. Zone 1 is a prime London and office space is really expensive, with locations such as Mayfair, Fitzrovia etc you can expect high prices. However Paddington is also in Zone 1 and office space in Paddington is much cheaper. You know what I mean now.
So have a look at the London Underground map and find areas which are close to your zone and search for office space within those areas. Serviced offices are quite common in the inner sections of London and you have a wide variety of choice to choose from. With many new businesses setting up in zone 4, 5 and 6 areas, it’s becoming increasingly popular. If your after a cheap office space then serviced offices are not the way forward, you should check with local estate agents in the area for available offices. London is the worlds financial capital and the City of London holds some of the worlds most valuable companies and as you can imagine, having your office nearby increases your business reputation. This sort of reputation can be beneficial to you big time, so it’s important to value your company and it’s goals before finding office space.
Many businesses don’t really pay too much attention to office space and underestimate it’s importance in a business. I’ve seen companies splash out thousands because they made the wrong choice in setting up a office in the wrong area. Look at your long term goal and where your business wants to be, using that information you can determine which office locations is appropriate for your business.
